I was thinking and one of the desperate teams that I can see giving up value for him would be Portland… now personally I would be nervous to do it if I were the blazers but if they’re serious about keeping Dame a Kat for Simons + 5th overall pick could get some traction

Ew Simons is not good. He's like a JR Smith type, he's either on fire or shooting you out of the game and very often it's the latter. Also he sucks on defense

Look they'll find some team. It won't be some amazing return but there will be a team out there willing to bet on the talent. I would say the big issue is really the salary. He's making so much that it makes matching the salaries a huge pain

Idk he’s gotten better every year only 24 and posts an above average 58% True Shooting for 21 ppg doesn’t sound anything like JR Smith to me lol… plus Rudy is there to cover the bad defense and that #5 pick may be worth it for KAT and getting off his contract alone

That’s the whole rub …he’s talented obviously but with his injuries and coming up small in big games AND salary I think Minny would be wise to pivot without being overly picky as their asset is highly flawed himself
