Exactly...despite what many may assume the "Billboards" keep in mind Meech had 4 of them along the Atlanta perimeter.....
the whole intent was to promote the label and the mixtape "the world is bmf" and to also provide damage control from all the bad publicity in Atlanta from the murder of Wolf and the negativity surrounding their presence.
Contrary to belief it was minor compared to the fact...according to DEA agent Bob Bell ..Demetrious Flenory had been on their radar since 1990 when the DEA was actually investigating the Puritian Ave. Boys led by T. Stuckney whom Meech was associated with.
The DEA then shift their efforts towards Meech exclusively when a red flag came up when he was arrested along with a
Colombian National in Detroit in 1994..but the agent said their wasn't enough evidence to charge him.
agent Bob Bell spoke upon it in this documentary at the 11:43 mark:
also keep in mind as Bleu Davinci said...so many under the BMF flag had started to do things under their own without a cosign from the "boss" such as obtaining their own plugs and getting caught up and especially all that "spillage" from T. Flenory and the Bogard movement led by JRocc down in Alabama , didn't help Meech's case as well.
The Feds just thew all that shyt in one big conspiracy gumbo pot when a lot of it was circumstantial and should have no bearing on Meech's case.
His whole intent was to have his case tried separate from his brother..but the feds wasn't haven't
like the Ralphie Simms case, or the Jorge "Fat Boy" Trevino st. Louis cartel hub case ..
the Michigan lotto scheme these were just a FEW of the factors that were way MORE SIGNIFICANT then those fukking BILLBOARDS in Atlanta.
