There's a Big Lots in my childhood neighborhood that has to have been there since the 70s. I haven't seen anyone walk in or out of there in at least 15 years.

Yeah I don't know about that one it's more about e-commerce. The malls haven't survived a lot of stores that are brick and mortar went out of business.

Younger people in general are buying all online now as well as the majority of the population.
They're stuck with these very expensive leases and rents in dying strip mall areas.
Unless you're getting food or something on the run you need immediately there's really no reason to step foot in the store and buy something.
Maybe like a suit or something you need fitted specifically. I try to avoid them places like the plague.
