I think it's woodley and Kidman who share a darker linkage. The way they stared at each other at the table when all 3 ladies were sitting. Like Kidman can tell she has a dark secret. I think they both suffer from some sort of rape/abuse

Oh yeah totally, Woodley's kid is a product of assault it's pretty obvious with the flashbacks, no Dad and the gun under the pillow.

That flashback retelling of Jane's incident is pretty incomplete from the book, wonder if they will add what was missed later. It's really good, highly stylized, beautifully directed, I dislike some of the casting, it's not a major flaw though, Sarasgrad is perfect for the role, but the writing is just a little off for the character, and he should be about 5 years older, and a little more charming, affable.
Very slow mundane shyt with this show. The acting is carrying the show.

Not that I think she is unattractive altogether, but this is why I said the casting was a little misguided.....The women was supposed to be like....Catherine Zeta Jones, (in Traffic) or one of those "Desperate Maids" types, (at least how I pictured the character) like take your breathe away, the room stops gorgeous, plus very glamorous, in all designer, that sort of look.
