AZ got 8 albums (one of which is a classic) and a couple(a few if you're a stan) memorable guest appearances. Big L got one classic album, and a compilation substituting for an album since we got cheated. Big L is right up there with other woulda, coulda, shoulda rappers. Can't deny their talent or impact on the game, but they weren't around long enough to compare to elite spitters who've been in the game for multiple years.

. Big L only made 1 album and it wasn't even like Ready to Die type level of quality. Az has a better discography (obv L got shot up) but common...he aint seeing Az...

L is great but not a legend. He made 1 good album (and his only album) and that's it. The only thing that saves him is his punchlines that "wow" nikkas that are obsessed with "complex" words. He is one dimensional and has zero versatility. Biggie can be proven easily as a legend even though he dropped 1 album while alive but it is one of the best rap albums ever made. Life Stylez ov tha Poor in Dangerous on the other hand....

cmon nikka.. Big L's influence in rap cannot be denied and off that alone it makes him a legend.. all im saying is if there careers were reversed..
you take AZ's first or best album (ill let you choose, im not really a fan like that) and you give L the years in the game he has. there is no debate. And one dimensional?? please.. Big L may be the best freestyle rapper ever, can rap a story like no one else, and can come at you with straight bars. Im not sayin AZ is just one dimensional but he aint got a big range of music
