His story is way too messy, anything that could ever be released would just be some phony shyt. Fans want some type of closure but a lot of lives were destroyed in that 139th Street crew beef.

Big Lee and one of 139th street guys he was beefing with had babies by two blood sisters prior to falling out. Keep in mind this is over 25 years ago. This makes everything worse, because these two families that have beef are now family.

One of those children (Big Lee's son) was murdered in 2019 just a few blocks away from where his uncle was killed. Probably had just dropped his son off at the local YMCA. There is no happy ending with any of this, asking for a documentary is borderline selfish at this point.

I also think a lot of people are going to realize Big L wasn't some innocent victim...

A documentary would be very messy, you right. Not only everything you mentioned above, but artists legacies are always at stake, music documentaries always end up in some sort of drama, whether its the interviews and artists, or the artists and the directors.

No doubt this is why Finesse and them didn't fukk with that Complex one. e.g. 'Todd from Saskatchewan in the media dept @ Complex is directing it and he wants to ask some bullshyt murder questions to Finesse, Joe etc.' :camby:

Movies are a whole different kettle of fish. Money speaks a universal language. Additionally, a screenplay isn't verbatim. They don't have to tell the truth, it's a movie, it's 'based' on a true story. Look at the NWA film, Dre is motherfukken Mother Teresa. :camby:

Please don't be as corny as AEOM/Notorious :mjcry:

I prefer documentaries for this type of legacy.
