Man this shyt is fire to me. But I'm not a DAY 1 krit fan so maybe that's why. I feel like the people who start with a rapper never wanna see em switch up. But the music changes with the man. Krit ain't the same broke ass dude from Mississippi anymore. He been all over the world. It's only natural that the music is gonna evolve.

Personally I'm loving this right now. He showed a lot of growth and his song writing is better than ever. Album goes in so many different directions. I think the more you sit with it, the more you'll love it. Gotta let his old work stand on its own and appreciate the new.

This is an up and down album to me. There'd be a couple good tracks in a row, then a dud and that pattern persisted throughout.

I'm gonna buy the CD though because Krit's on my short list of artists I'll buy no matter what unless they release a NASIR level dud.

The rapping is dope. The SONG doesn’t feel prolific enough for two emcees of their caliber. This is KRIT and Cole. It should feel like a “moment” but it doesn’t.
I think Cole woulda fit better on "Everytime". Cole woulda killed that beat. That's prolly my favorite track at the moment. Loved baby rose on it. Cole woulda been perfect....or Kendrick....or Lupe....or Nip:wow:

Ironically, this is the type of album a lot of people have been calling for K.R.I.T. to make for a long time. On previous projects it was “He needs to work with other producers, too country, everything is starting to run together”, etc.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t :yeshrug:

Feedback seems overwhelmingly positive so far which is dope. Hopefully this opens the door for a few new fans.

Smart move putting Energy on there too, seems like a lot of people never heard it.

Where did you hear this?
Got to hear the album yesterday at a listening session with him. It’s different for Krit. He isn’t producing on it but it still sounds good. Worked a lot with Rico Love. Has a song on there that Nipsey was supposed to be on but Nip died so Krit had to complete the song himself. Also feats a track with J Cole that’s fire.

Im disappointed with this album. It's very lack luster (It kinda reminds me of Cadillactia) it's too many highs and lows on this album. Considering the fact I thought Krit found his footing with 4Eva Is A Mighty Long Time I had my expectations high with this album.

Songs I enjoyed.
