This album is so interesting. It’s dope, that’s no question, but off first listen, the music is so unique. There’s so much variety in the records. Not quite what I expected. I thought he was coming with a soul sample heavy album. It’s soulful without sounding like a rehash of music we already heard. Also, seems to be a conscious decision to make more records for his growing female audience can vibe with. My wife, sister in law, and one of my homie’s wife all listen to KRIT now. Gonna dissect this album some more later.
