Secretly I think he will take this route. This album was to show off his ability to make a solid to great CD. He's looking beyond just being a rapper at this point. I would like to see him produce for other artists and do their hooks.

Being a Pimp C clone isn't a bad thing. Pimp C was a rapper, producer, and singer. Nothing wrong with taking that step after Pimp.

Overall this is a wonderful CD and I'm glad he went independent. He probably signed a deal for networking purposes. Krit took all that he learned being independent and being on a label and now he's taking that next step.

This could quite possibly be one of the most embarrassing coli posts I've ever read, which is a feat given by what Sirbytch and Young Thug fans have said in various threads.

I’m damn near a dot Stan but Damn has not aged that well to me. Besides DNA, fear, and duckeorth I haven’t really given that album a lot of spins. And TPAB stil gets weekly spins from front to back with me.

Krit is still too early but even tho it’s a double I’ve found songs on here that will get spins for years to come

Between the teddy riley and the juve they killed it. Might no translate to 2017 club cause nikkaz don’t even dance with girls anymore but in the late 90s/early 00s :lawd::banderas:

I've listened to a lot of UGK in my life and besides a very small number of songs Krit has produced where he's deliberately trying to go for that sound, I don't see how so many people can compare him to Pimp. When you delve into his lyrical content and especially his catalogue of more introspective songs, there's absolutely nothing that's similar between the two. Maybe I've just listened to both enough to know the difference between them, but reading the Coli it would seem like they're Future/Designer or even NOE/Jay Z.
