I'm really impressed that you only tossed 3 songs out of a 22 song double disc as someone who's always remained cautiously skeptical of KRIT's catalog

A potential good benefit of double discs is that if executed right they tend to grow over time as listeners sequence out the individual discs.
A first time complete sit down can be overwhelming based off time commitment

Stankonia was the first album my mom bought for me but I only listened to the hits at a younger age.
Even as I aged, my perception of the album remained somewhat similar. I understood why the singles were so groundbreaking but over time as I continued to get familiar with Outkast's catalog I started playing the tape through and now Stankonia is my favorite Kast record.
It can take a long time for a double tape or longer album to sit just right.
