How is being a UGK or Outkast imposter remotely a bad thing? These are the guys we should have more Southern artists trying to emulate.

Meanwhile 95% of the South is copy cats recycling the same triplets and Metro Boomin beats

I'm not trying to argue, I just don't get it

Being original > sounding like the next man

Did I really have to explain that? :gucci:

Krit still sounds like a Pimp C imposter, that's the only thing holding him back, and he has the same cut and paste verse syndrome that Bun B has now.

Krit as a producer >>> Rhymer
I see what you mean with Pimp c part

but copy and paste verse:stopitslime:? how?

Didn't say it was a bad thing, far from wack, but coming from a veteran listener in the game such as myself it does make dude hard to listen to at times. A lot of his tracks are interchangeable.

I can say so far that Krit is definitely a better rapper/producer than Cole at this point. :ohhh:

I would even say Krit can rival Kendrick in lyrical ability as well. :ohhh:

He has always been better than Cole at both. The gap between him and Kendrick is definitely much smaller these days but he's probably never going to get his deserved recognition.

The beat switch on Sub 4 saved it :wow:

I was about to skip the song and something told me to hold on :whew:

See my post above
so it comes back around about his core themes/topics

I can understand the criticism but it seems ridiculous considering that most of these artist people praise or like, literally have core themes topics that are present in all there work.

on top of that but be having production be sounding the same.(something some critique Krit on for when he makes car appreciation songs)

very and I mean very few artist had the ability to change core themes or not be attached to core themes/topics.

I cant find no heart of the city song by him so idk what you talkin about.

but control :mjlol: naf fam, that shyt was all hype aint nothing even touching the verses I mentioned.

:ehh: yeah every rapper has their crutches to lean on. Krit, Cole, on down the line. You can't expose one and say that's why he's not better without looking at the others/their flaws. It evens up right away. It comes down to who executes their craft the best I guess:manny:

It's some tough work on here though, when Krit is on the music is perfect.

Soulful Krit >>> Trap Krit
