I knew most of them. Was to into sports to rock with them.
I'm sore off of this. I swear, he was the glue that was between all of the Brooklyn crews back then. BIG, AZ, Jr. mafia, Foxy, Jay, Smooth the Hustla, all of them...Kap was the middle man between all those crews. We all knew each other mostly through him. This dude gave my daughters godfather one of his turntable sets. Had us in the Palladium, the Tunnel, Limelight, all that. Only problem is our crew were the grimiest of the grimiest niqqas.
I remember There was a function at Culture Club out in crown heights back in the day featuring my man, Jay and Foxy that Kap put together. A certain talk show host and her spouse didn't want to pay Kap that night. Well....my man pulled out the 5th....Kap got ALL his bread. So he LOVED having the goons around because he knew he'd be straight...but lord did them niqqas put him through some stress.
Let me tell you about Kap....there was this one dude back in the day who robbed him. Years later that same dude was amongst our circle and Kap just laughs off how dude stuck him up and then niqqas later were damn near the best of friends.
Damn man....this niqqa Kap brought mad fun into my life in the 90s. I owe this dude. He had a good heart....
