Many people complain about how short his run is but in all honestly, he shouldn't have won it. He is a mid-card guy with a mid-card gimmick and bad hairline. It makes no sense how people complain about how WWE did Big E wrong when your average person doesn't take him seriously with that new day gimmick. If BIG wants to be taken seriously he needs to drop that gimmick. Throwing pancakes and shaking your ass is not main event material.

Look how out of place this nikka looks standing next to Roman and Bobby. He has the potential but he needs to drop the New Day gimmick.

People have been demanding a Big E main event run for years. He finally gets it and people hate it. I wonder what the common denominator is when WWE does something people want to see and it fails.

If the company wants you to be a threat, they'll book you like one. I'm not going to blame Big E for failing when I know how talented he is, and everybody here knows that. He was a transitional champion and that's how WWE treated him. How is he in control of that?

Exactly this, and TSC falls for it every time.

Dolph Ziggler was supposedly so overdue to be a top guy, but they squander him after his Survivor Series 2014 win and now he needs to retire.
At first Bray should have been the next Undertaker, then he starts getting jobbed out to Cena and he's a "and the bell rang" wrestler.
Braun was cool when he was beating Roman's ass every week but he gets booked like a clown against Lesnar and now he's trash.
Keith Lee was cool in NXT but he debuts on the main roster in a hula skirt and now he sucks.

It was dangerously close to happening to Daniel Bryan after that shytty b-movie Kane feud but he ended up having to retire.
Now Big E is the next to have always been trash and I'm surprised it hasn't happened to Kofi yet.

Raised a good point there. It just sucks that dude looked like he was just there during his match with Reigns. If anything, Big E really needed to change up his style once he won the gold. I understand having the look of a underdog, but the perception of him being 1/3rd of the New Day just screams cosplay champion.

Oh I agree the booking of him was pretty bad for the most part but at least they had faith in him to give a run with the title. Some guys will never even get that chance.
