I dont see it. If he uses his hand to slam the face down as he is going down, that might work, but his hands is arounds opponents waist. The move just doesnt look painful at all.

The move isnt supposed to look painful. The premise of the Big Ending is that because of the height of altitude in addition with the sheer size of Langston's arms and shoulders, that the move simply knocks all the wind out of you (which can be quite painful) and it pins you for not only a three count but a five count (2 counts more impressive). Same with the Shell Shock and The Attitude Adjustment and even the Zig Zag to an extent. Its just a matter of changing perception in which to see it.
