I’d keep Brunson, Grimes, and Robinson for sure. Brunson is an offensive juggernaut but he’s a liability on defense. You need a mobile rim protector to help cover for him and a switchable defender in Grimes that can handle the point of attack so you can hide Brunson on the weaker backcourt player.

I think you have the right idea with a Randle type player, a mismatch 4 that can space the floor or bully smaller wings on switches while having vision and playmaking, but Randle gives me Josh Smith vibes. He’s talented but not enough to offset his low IQ plays or his high ego plays. He’s easy to bait and emotionally manipulate so he bleeds possessions at the worst times.

A guy like Bobby Portis or Brooke Lopez would be great for you.

I don’t think you give up on Robinson unless you get a top tier defensive big back ala Bam or Draymond. As frustrating as he is offensively, y’all need that backline defender.

I’m interested to see how y’all move going forward.
Here's the thing, I've been on the Randle hate train since he and Bobby Portis were here. I rooted for the Knicks to keep Portis and trade Randle.

I was impartial to RJ since our Knicks fanbase consisted of a lot of RJ and Frank Nıggalina fans so I tried not to have them stone me for saying them nıggas are fụcking trash....now look where we are.

I prefer Hartenstein over Robinson if we could only keep 1 big. Jericho Sims will be an elevated Robinson with time and experience.

I love Grimes, IQ and Toppin. Those are my guys in addition to Brunson and what kept me invested but at this point, RJ and Randle are so trash, I don't see teams taking their contracts unless you package the bench and picks with them.

Knicks will have to package IQ with RJ and Grimes and Toppin with Randle in addition to picks then acquire some new faces from the upcoming drafts unfortunately.

They fụcked up for giving those guys them contracts. I can't fụcking stand Stephen A. Smith but I agree that if possible, you gotta get another talent like Damian Lillard, Kat for as little as possible to let Randle go or Jaylen Brown.

I knew that without IQ and Grimes coming off an injury with little exposure, Brunson would have to carry these guys on his back and get exposed.

I also think Thibs is the wrong coach and he got exposed. He shows favoritism and it kills this team. He doesn't know how to utilize strengths on players and set plays. The team isn't talented enough to play through zone defense with RJ and Randle there. He also doesn't know how to set defensive plays for guys to cover switches on the perimeter.

Julius lacks 2 key skills that caused this team to be exposed, rebounding and defense. Obi is slightly better than him on defense but is a phenomenal rebounder which is why I agree with Ernie and Jalen when they stated that he needs more minutes.

Fire the coach, do whatever it takes to trade Randle and RJ while keeping as many picks as possible and hit a soft reboot on this team.

I'm not one of those weird delusional Knicks fans that keeps looking at dookie juice ass players and creating false analytics. I troll 9 times out of 10 but there's half truths in there. I gotta look into off season to see where this team goes. If done right, I'd say 2025-2026, could have a solid roster. But if I see these 2 dookie juice ass nıggas still here by mid trade deadline with Thibs, my disdain for the Knicks will be up there just slightly below Dillon Brooks. I want to see where IQ and Obi get traded to as well since we know those are not Thibs guys.

It's still fụck Stephen A. Smith. I don't like that cọon artists.

*Rant over* Good luck y'all. 👍🏽

I thought Julius was the difference maker for this team and what stopped y’all from winning game 1?
Look at this fakkit switch up his stance on Julius.

:dead: :dead: :dead:

Shameless gimmick fakkit.
@Gil Scott-Heroin, Julius Randle was an all-star this year and led the Knicks to the 4th seed as the number one option while playing at an All-NBA level.

He averaged 24/10/6 while shooting 41% from 3. You said no one was thinking about Randle in 21 and cracking jokes about him January but you went ghost when he started playing unbelievably well.

You have multiple posts saying Julius isn’t a good player and saying the Knicks were a fool to keep him on the roster yet they’re in the playoffs as the 4th seed. Any thoughts or you still ducking like a coward?
Hyping up Randle for one agenda, and then shytting on him for another.

Lmao what Julius is a solid player that led his team to a playoff seeding as the 1st option and was an all star the year I said that.

He still wasn’t the difference maker against the Heat because we’re an elite team and his presence didn’t change anything.

Stick to insults and crying about the lack of attention from your daddy because you don’t know shyt about hoops.

No wonder you deflecting so much :heh:

Jalen Brunson gave the Miami Heat more issues and played with more heart than Brown and Tatum combined.

Celtics have the better roster than the Knicks but a bunch of cowards and their coach getting blamed.
