He posts up his defender. The defense fakes a double team (or makes a lazy attempt at a double).
Randle passes it to Brunson or some other guard who won’t pop a 3. Instead they’ll drive to the basket but won’t toss up a floater or layup.
Then they’re scrambling to get a shot off before a 24 second violation.
