Drug law reform happened because progressives spent years fighting for it. The fact that progressive pressure on the issue eventually converted even someone as unlikely as Biden, one of the literal architects of the drug-driven prison-industrial complex, is a victory that you were desperate to turn into some sort of defeat.

* You falsely claimed that numerous Muslim courts could have tried bin Laden for his crimes and refused to do so, when he literally had to flee to Sudan and Afghanistan because he was a persona non grata in every other Muslim country and multiple Muslim nations actively wanted to capture him for crimes
* You falsely claimed that the bulk of Muslim nations agreed with Osama bin Laden's methods and goals when that was just bullshyt bigoted slander
* You falsely claimed that the US had officially labeled the Afghan Taliban as a terrorist group before 9/11, when they had never done so
* You falsely claimed that there was no chance of Afghanistan handing Osama over when even a center-right CATO report said there were opportunities that were missed
* You falsely claimed the Afghan Taliban had sheltered bin Laden for 20 years, when he hadn't even been there five years when the Taliban was overthrown
* You falsely claimed the Afghan Taliban couldn't even turn bin Laden over because the ISI were the ones actually protecting him
* You falsely claimed that Pakistan didn't give up terrorists when they gave up multiple major Al Queda operatives
* You falsely claimed that war was necessary to keep Osama from running his terrorist network when he ran it just fine for a decade AFTER the war started
Some of those falsehoods even contradict each other, and you didn't care. You proved that you knew literally nothing about bin Laden, nothing about Muslim nations, and nothing about the 1980s/1990s, and yet you demanded that your take on all those issues should be regarded as the definitive one and didn't need to be defended with facts. Why should a person who doesn't even know the basic facts of a situation think they have ANY authority to declared certitude on the far deeper issues?

I posted the exact same way when I owned you as I did when I owned the people you praised me for dismantling. Only difference is that you got defensive when the logic-based analysis was turned in your direction.
There are numerous people here who I can disagree with and yet respect the way they argue. If your opinion of a person's arguments changes depending on whether he's arguing with you or arguing with someone else, that says more about you than about them.
