Nobody hates this, it just isn't realistic and has been made harder due to some Supreme Court decisions like Citizens United. If we can't get that and ranked choice voting, we are locked in a two-horse race. It would take some massive fukkery to fix this but Citizens United has solidified the dumb shyt for the time being. I hate when people say this shyt. It’s like every other demographic in America is allowed to voice their displeasure and be catered to but progressives. Those people are currently voting for everyone else Democrat. The Dems senators in those states are all polling ahead of Biden. They’re specifically telling him to cut the bullshyt. At the same time this isn’t the real reason Biden is unpopular, people generally just think he’s old and shouldn’t be up there. He had possibly the most progressive agenda since LBJ and no one cares. They just don’t like the candidate. He probably should not have run for a second term.

It's actually true, my guy. Speaking as a progressive, there is a funnel towards moderate views and progressives get blamed fairly regularly for moderate/Neoliberal Democrat failings when we don't back them. The party at large doesn't want to hear from us on the national level, whereas locally we always have a chance. It sucks to be where we are but this is the Democrats fault for not having a pipeline. They have no choice but Biden right now due to the very real threat of Trump. Not just Trump, actually, as Project 2025 is clearly a blueprint for anything Republican who hits office.

Public opinion on the economy does not care about unemployment numbers. It cares about inflation and consumer buying power. People feel like their dollar does not go very far right now. So most would say the economy is not doing good except if you're a c level executive at a large corporation

Lets hope so. I think Michigan is the only state Biden has to worry about in regards to the Israel/Gaza conflict. I think we may be exaggerating how much of a deciding factor this conflict will be when it comes to who peopĺe will vote for. Also he's fell out of favor with lot of young voters but they don't usually vote anyway.
