Not really, just not lightskinned. It'll be fine if she ends up being darkskinned but that's not a requirement. As long as she looks like she has a Kenyan mother and an African American father (and not mixed), it works.

None of these girls should be playing Ororo - most people didn't read the comics enough to know how much that isn't the move - but there's definitely something that should be done with these in-shape women used to physicality without a stand-in and used to operating in one-take environmnents.

The fact that there haven't been more crossover stars from wrestling gotta be almost solely due to no off-season giving them no time to try. Literally everything a wrestler does should make them ready for at least a bit role in TV/film and Rock/Cena/Batista being the only ones really doing anything is ridiculous.

That said... good luck in particular to Mercedes. Prayers up for the girl.
