Funny how your emotions can swing all week. I was quietly confident we'd win all week. Nerves had me a bityesterday and this morning. I was buying into the Mahomes hype, starting to believe he's the real life incarnation of Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl. But the closer we get to kickoff, the more secure I feel about our defense. Like I said before, he's the best QB in the league, but he only plays one position.
Limit turnovers to 1 or less and Eagles walk away as Super Bowl Champions in a few hours.
I've been so overwhelmingly confident this day would happen and result in a ring since that week 2 stomping of the Vikings. Now that I'm sufficiently whiskey'd, I feel it even stronger.
All year I said a team would have to prove they were better than us because I just don't believe there is one this season. I am ready to see that confidence in these guys produce another ring.
