Whether it was the field or just bad play, may have been some of the worst defense in a bowl on both sides of the ball. I can't even recall either QB making many wow plays their capable of, most of the shyt was easy pickings. Even Hurts bomb TD should have been picked off

Eagles could have gotten that cushion if they didn't settle for 3 twice. Once at the half and the other at the beginning of the 3rd I believe. So missed opportunities on both sides.

They definitely should’ve ran the ball more in short yardage situations on 3rd down. Why they go away from whats been working, I have no idea.

They should have been trying to methodically get down the field and take their time but instead threw 3 near picks on short yardage passes anticipated by the defense, knowing they have cam newton 2.0 ready to run a nikka over and miles sanders finesse ass in the backfield
