i said early in the game, that "time of possession" ball shyt is not new to the chiefs. The only possession that matters is really the last one, like you said.

Basically.

It's how the Brady Patriots played: as long as the score is close and you get the ball last with an elite quarterback - that's exponentially the best odds to win.

Keep the score close, manage the clock on offense in the 4th quarter, dial up the right blitz at the right time to get the stop and get the ball back late for some heroics.

The reason why not every team can do it: they don't have a Brady or Mahomes.

Edit: That is of course when they don't go ahead and blow the other team out straight up.

Yes our defense was TRASH tonight, but who were they trash against? The Chiefs offense. You can't have one without the other. They got embarrassed out there and let the team and the entire Philadelphia area down. They were sitting on the sidelines for the majority of the game, its not like they were gassed. Chiefs tore them apart. They don't win this game without Mahomes. Period.
