Eagles defense was awful in the second half how can you say its not on them is incorrect but Mahomes only had 180 yards passing....The Hurts fumble and the punt return early in the 4th quarter were the plays of the game that swing the game....5 mins to go tie game #1 dedense you have to get a stop right there they beat you on offense that was too easy for a #1 ranked D to give up....a 26 yard QB run a couple of sweeps....Eagles D was trash when it counted to say you cant blame them is crazy....

poor call, but it is what it is. as a former defensive player, you have to nut up and put the onus on you and your guys to stop them nikkas. they let the chiefs walk up and down the field on them the entire 2nd half. including 2 walk in touch downs without a soul near the receiver

Chiefs scored 2 wide open redzone tds in the 2nd half. And had to pull up on the 3rd one to kick a game winning FG. Why were people not counting coaching into these "better team" discussions?

another thing, the kc o-line is criminally underrated at this point. whether you want to give props to the line itself or the coaches, their schemes deserve applause.
the fact that these guys give patrick all that time without ever holding (yeah I know, but still) is an element that isn't talked about enough that contributes greatly to what pat is able to do. sometimes he scrambles and creates it himself, but a lot of times he is in the pocket comfortably for a while, allowing his receivers to get down the field and then let him make magic from there.
