Agreed. Spags is gonna try to force him to throw.

I don't see him putting 8 in the box though. Too risky just in case he do start throwing to AJ and Devonta. Hurts just gotta ball out.

I wonder what kind of defense in the secondary they will run against Patrick.

The Cinci playoff victory is the only quality win KC had all season

Lost to Buffalo and Cinci in their only other quality opponent games

Also play in arguably the worst division in football

Nobody in the backwards, silly. dusty, horse and buggy/ 85 rusted paint chevy oldsmobile driving state of Missouri has ever seen anything like this Eagles defense

They've been playing flag football on the west coast all year

The majority of these hackie sack hippies on this afc west team will probably not make it out of the superbowl

Respectfully,

people gotta chill on wherever defenses rank...Mahomes has a knack for making good defense look pedestrian sometimes. Like who philly played against or their ranking doesn't matter. Unless they're on some 85 Bears or 2015 Broncos shyt, it don't matter. :yeshrug: I think it'll be a pretty close game because Hurts can scramble and AJ Brown is probably more of a game wrecker than dudes like Chase/Higgins. As a Chiefs fan, I was so happy that dude got outta the AFC. Hated when the Chiefs would have to play him on the Titans. :mjlol:

Likely sending safety help with Jwatson on AJ. I can live with Sneed on Devonta.

you can go with the weak schedule vs battle tested talk all you want, but at the end of the day the eagles roster is just flat out better than KCs. i couldnt name 5 chiefs players that would start on the eagles. we heard the "attack in so many ways on offense" argument last week until our pass rush knocked purdy out of the game. mahomes potentially going superhuman is my only concern for the game because that chiefs team overall just isnt scary to me :hubie:.

:dead: :dead: :dead: @ facing "vastly superior offenses than the eagles"
It's easy to look lights out against weak competition. I like how you didn't name these great offenses the Eagles faced. Chiefs faced 49ers with a healthy Jimmy G, Bills, Bengals and still only ended up giving up a 1.5 less than the Eagles.

Mahomes, Kelce, Bolton, Chris Jones and Gay would all definitely start on the Eagles. Chiefs ain't the Giants out there. Not to mention Chiefs have a couple all-pro OTs.

So the Chiefs didn't beat the 49ers when they were healthy?

49ers doesn't have a good offense breh that shyt is a running offense that can't battle back from a lead. Bills ain't shyt turnover machine at QB. I give yall Bengals.

Yeah the AJ Brown factor is a big one. That and Jalen being able to run the ball. That's two things the D seemed to struggle with, big physical receivers and running QBs. I see the Chiefs selling out to stop the run game and trying to force Jalen to use his arm which is much easier said than done.

KC's D has held up all year even while playing a bunch of rookies. They only gave up 1.5 points per game more than the Eagles while facing vastly superior offenses than the Eagles. What great offense has the Eagles played and shut down all year?

Philly has had a soft ass schedule this year. Is there even a top 10 team they've beat this year outside of the 49ers which was a joke after the Purdy injury? Their best wins of the year are either the Giants or Vikings. Dallas was missing Dak when they beat them and obviously the 49ers missing all their QBs.

My main concern for the Chiefs are all the injuries they're dealing with. This Philly D has faced nothing like this Chiefs D that can attack in so many ways. And Hurts still hasn't looked all the way right since his return.

I mean, you can't really point at Jalen's shoulder injury while Patty spent much of Sunday hobbling around the field with a possible high ankle sprain.

I would argue the Chiefs haven't faced a rushing attack quite like the Eagles. 3 quality RBs and Hurts running behind the best offensive line in football. If they can't stop it that means the Eagles dominate TOP, which means less time on the field for Patty.

cowboys, jags, vikings, lions, 49ers. i didn't name them because it's irrelevant. 49ers is a top 3 offense and you'll just use the excuse of them not having purdy as if our defense isn't the reason for that. not sure where all this "great competition" is hidden like there isn't only but a few elite teams within any given year. you lost to a healthy bills and bengals, then beat the bengals missing 3 starters on their o line. not sure why you are bringing up beating the 49ers like they looked good with a healthy jimmy G in the first place. purdy came in then that's when the 49ers offense exploded. the bills doesn't even have a rushing game so tell me how are they a "vastly superior" offense :dead:. your defense hasn't faced an offense as good as the eagles, miss me with the "they only look good because they didn't play anyone" argument :camby:. if we got past the 49ers defense, i have zero concern vs the chiefs defense.

on their 2nd qb, and a Mccaffrey-less 49ers are not a quality opponent

I mean, they're not a quality team anyways, but even less so without mccaffrey

i think that was CMC's first game there. but that offense didn't look good at all either way. if dude is bragging about beating a 3-4 49ers, i should bring up blowing out the 7-4 titans (same titans that took the chiefs to OT with fukking malik willis throwing 80 yards) :dead:

Yeah, he'd been there for like 3 days, and didn't matter

regardless the 49ers aren't a good team

Had the easiest schedule in the league and skated by on beating two other shyt teams in the playoffs before getting put on punishment by the father of the NFC
