Rihanna is more accessible and has better global appeal and that's reflected in a larger volume of chart hits (she has more material that performs better commercially), but Beyonce's got smackers that's generally more impactful and influential.. it holds more cultural capital in the black community (especially her early work), while Rihanna's EDM, Dance Pop and bubblegum records (she was marketed as a pop artist until Anti) won't bold to well with our community. For Example: We Found Love and This is What You Came For are #1 hits on billboard, but Me Myself and I and Love on Top is going to ring off with black listeners. To be honest I think Umbrella (a career defining hit) is going to lose to Say My Name in a verzuz match. Rihanna more commercial while Beyonce is cultural if that makes sense. If this was to ever happen, It's going to shut the internet down.

Beyonce wins this because Verzuz is more of a R&B/Hip Hop vibe. Nobody is showing up to hear "XO" vs. "Disturbia". This would be more "Drunk In Love" vs. "Pour It Up" or "Love On Top" and "Party" vs. "Work" and "What's My Name".

basically sums it up

Range isn't winning a Verzuz. Verzuz is more R&B/Hip Hop leaning. In that regard, Beyonce is winning on the strength of these songs:

Before I Let Go
Dangerously In Love
Party
Love On Top
Crazy In Love
Me Myself & I
Single Ladies
The Closer I Get To You
Get Me Bodied
Drunk In Love
Deja Vu
