She’s had hits for 20 years tho….. :dahell:
Deep catalog.

I mean Destiny's Child hit big in...1997.

I'm 37 going on 38, and she's been big time since I was in 5th or 6th grade.

Being able to put on a great live show/concert is what separates good from great. That's how you get the legions of fans. Studio shyt and music videos don't mean shyt if you can't make it pop on stage.

T-Swift and Bey get shyt on for talent and musical quality. There are probably much better artists out there...but shows are where it's at.

What I love about her is that I sense that she understands what she represents. She’s a Black-American woman who made it to the top of the industry, because a global icon/legend without scandal, without shaming herself, her family name, or her PEOPLE.

A lot of Black folks take that shyt for granted because she happens to be beautiful and light skinned. At the end of the day, Matthew Knowles instilled some insane work ethic in his daughter and she took that influence and ran with it. Not to mention she actually “did life” properly: Worked on her interests/career, married, and had children after marriage. All scandal free while being a global star.

Beyoncé is a Black woman, ADOS/FBA, who represents EXCELLENCE on a global scale. When white folks/TPTB tried to play her and allow articles that basically talked about her like she was a vapid chick with no substance or longevity she stepped back, went silent, and came out with killer performance after killer performance.

I think it was after “Beychella” Clive Davis himself called her the “Queen of the industry” and all the sideways chatter came to a stop.

I don’t care if you don’t like her music, image, husband, etc. Beyoncé is a FANTASTIC example for any young Black woman. SHE is what it looks like to be on top of your game in every aspect of your life.

I am so fukking proud of that woman, and I’m glad the woman who is running that shyt is a BLACK woman.
Where she from? Let em know where she from!!!!
