1) I already posted raw numbers for Beyoncé's overall albums and in that department, she's clearly ahead of both of them. In fact, you were the one who said that Katy "obliterates" Beyoncé in regard to digital sales. Then you turn around and strictly make it about singles when proof was posted of Beyoncé "obliterating" Katy Perry in terms of digital album sales in regard to their last releases.

here's your problem in this whole discussion; you keep wanting to quantify everything - i'm going by overall figures. who said anything about latest releases?

per the link I just posted - Katy perry has outsold Beyonce in the digital era. this is not an opinion.

Katy Perry and Juicy J's dark horse sold 13 million - I know you all don't want to include that in the debate/discussion, but the industry can't scoff at 13 million dollars made off of one song...that's HUGE in any era and establishes her as a bonafide megastar.

2) Rihanna being a singles artist was already noted. And again, in an era where a single costs $.99 and you're a singles artists, that's not hard to do. It's actually a laughable comparison to someone who is selling albums, which is why I brought up cost.

- i'm not talking about COSTS. why are you talking about COSTS of singles? what does that have to do with the discussion? either Beyonce has sold more singles than Rihanna or not - and again, you're wanting to omit this data but why when billboard, the music business, the entire free world pretty much doesn't, why should we? so you can win a debate on a forum? stop it.

3) Sales figures have already been posted that support Beyoncé's career crushing Rihanna's and Katy's. Neither of them have sold as many albums as Beyoncé. Their tours don't gross as much as Beyoncé's either:

you're right. neither of them have outsold her album wise since we're pretending this is 1993 and there is no such thing as Itunes. let's move on
I know how to end this debate: compare beyonce to taylor swift and adele. :sas1:

no excuses, no emotions, no bias - go ahead and google up those comparisons and come back w/your findings.

and keep in mind, the debate is that beyonce is the GOAT.....come on with those numbers. i'll wait. :sas2:

Those overall sales figures for both Katy Perry and Rihanna are inflated. The digital era gives them the privilege of selling music for next to nothing vs. other artists who are on the top sellers list who didn't have that luxury. Why are the numbers inflated? Katy Perry has sold 6 million albums vs. 85 digital tracks. Rihanna has sold 10 million albums vs. 79 million digital tracks.

13 million people had to buy a single where they make more off a Beyoncé album sold at $13-$17.99 with 1 million people buying. That's not even counting the singles sales.

Katy Perry and Rihanna again, SOLD MORE SINGLES in an era where you can cop singles for next to nothing. Yes, it is significant in regard to singles sales. Still the fact that Beyoncé CONTINUES TO SELL ALBUMS in the digital era speaks volumes. That's where Katy Perry AND Rihanna fall short of the Beyoncé's, Adele's, and Taylor Swift's. They still manage to get people to shell out $9 to $16 for their music vs. people paying $.99 for singles because they either aren't interested in the rest of the album or they just like the singles.

I would be pretending this were '93 if I were bringing up stats from decades ago. Katy Perry hasn't released new music since 2013. That's why I compared it to Beyoncé's 2013 album. This is pretty recent. Then to top it off, I also mentioned Beyoncé's latest album, which still sold over a million copies in the DIGITAL ERA. There's links that I posted that attest to Beyoncé doing huge iTunes numbers so I don't get where "since we're pretending this is 1993 and there is no such thing as ITunes" is coming from especially since in the very next statement you're mentioning Adele and Taylor Swift. Regarding them, you can't lump Katy and Rihanna in with them, because they aren't even touching Beyoncé albums wise and Beyoncé is the only other female that's still selling 1 million+ so far in the digital era. And no, Adele and Taylor Swift selling as many albums as they do can't be overlooked. No matter how you slice it, any artist that can still sell an album is impressive commercially no matter who they are. I don't have to like the music or even like them, but from a commercial standpoint, it's respectable.

If everyone is calling it a classic and you her worst album, don’t you think that you are the problem and not everyone else :mjlol:

Dudes egos are on another level:wow:
Am I trying to convince other people of my opinion?

Plenty of people disagree about mass opinion of albums - TPAB is anothef off the bat that for every ten people praising it there is one who dislikes it or feels it's overrated - it's art and it's subjective.

FOH acting like folks aren't entitled to think differently

“But let people tell it” “cure cancer” followed by an ironic smilie. You are the one not letting people think freely by shytting on them.

You are just looking for e-comfort from people who don’t think the album is all that by shytting on the album by making cancer cure jokes thinking that you’re slick, it’s corny.
