It'll probably be panned on here considering the content, but this IS absolutely her best effort. I've never been anything more than a casual listener if that... but this... this is good. Give it a listen.

Just finished the entire film.

Excellent visuals. Very good music. This is the most I've ever enjoyed a Beyoncé project, and this is coming from someone who is not a fan (not a hater either, ive always recognized her talent.) She crafted a musical movie that's right up there with Michael Jackson and Prince in terms of pure enjoyment.


Do I believe for one second that this is a song for song window into the marital lives of Jay-Z and Beyoncé? Nah, hell no. They both know EXACTLY what type of buzz and press their relationship generates, and they know how to milk it.

Still doesn't take away from the album's overall enjoyment, the music is top notch and as a concept album I can really dig it.
