Cap marvel is supposed to be carol Danvers for the MCU right? If so, very unlikely they race-swap, that will cause issues.
If anything she might be Monica Rambeau instead.

That was like her first movie role and it was like 15 years ago she was ok in dream girls and Cadillac records brehShe can't act at all though. I remember when she tried to crossover in that Austin Powers movie and was terrible. The studio better get her into some of those beginner classes before they start shooting any movies.

That's fair. I didn't watch Dream Girls and didn't pay attention to her in Cadillac Records, so maybe she has gotten better. I just can't shake that sad first impression of her acting skills though.
I agree with anyone else who said they'd rather see someone up and coming get these roles instead of shoving a famous name in as a money draw, so I have that bias too.
