Bey is up there when it comes to performers but she lacks that special energy MJ had that whipped crowds into a trance.

You realize that's the reason why people are hyping Beyonce right? The sheer amount of her show that she does live vocally is astounding, and how well she does it while still having extensive dance numbers throughout her show is nuts. It's basically unprecedented in the modern era.

Also I find it funny how everyone runs to Michael as the GOAT performer, completely ignoring how much of his show was lip-sync. Prince is the GOAT live performer.

Bey lipsyncs alot. More than MJ did on his tours during his prime years. Bey prerecorded her lipped vocals and MJ just used the CD track

A few people I know personally one of them being someone whose music opinion I respect greatly and also Charlagmane said something along the lines of people he knows in the business who said Beyoncé > MJ in that regard.

At the end of the day it’s matter of opinion. There are people that think Janet is better than MJ.
As far as stage production go, technology has advanced so much and that has nothing to do with the artist. Madonna stage designs are GOAT. Janet stage production in the 90s were top notch as well.
