as someone who has seen prime janet - bey is not a better performer than janet. now if we're also taking vocals into account, sure, but even then, janet has better songs. in any case, bey is a great all-time performer, but she's not ahead of janet nor mike.

Why would we not take vocals into account when discussing a live performer

You realize that's the reason why people are hyping Beyonce right? The sheer amount of her show that she does live vocally is astounding, and how well she does it while still having extensive dance numbers throughout her show is nuts. It's basically unprecedented in the modern era.

Also I find it funny how everyone runs to Michael as the GOAT performer, completely ignoring how much of his show was lip-sync. Prince is the GOAT live performer.

There was mad articles going into complex pricing and shyt with Hov's tour, Live Nation done hired scientists to price the big artists shyt as high as possible.
If 2000 seat at 2000 buck each gives the most profit, I feel that they might do it

...nah family. Singing is part of what the person is doing on stage. You can't piece that apart just because it became an acceptable norm to not expect pop stars to actually sing their songs well while on stage. Beyonce is head and shoulders above damn near all of her peers from the MTV generation till now because she can match them in spectacle (whether or not you find her better, whatever, the difference is marginal either way and down entirely to taste) while blowing them away by actually singing a lot, and doing it well.
