Verse wasn’t trash but it wasn’t THAT crazy. His fans def overrate him cause this verse isn’t a power circle, nostalgia, wats wrong or family ties. It was a cool verse though

Honestly dude, I think fans are just happy to hear him having fun on a track and actually rapping again. VS the last album where many of the more uptempo, fun-esque tracks were more about melody or hooks than rapping (Die Hard, Silent Hill, etc). People want him to get back to spazzing on tracks again and this is probably the closest they've heard in years.

It was an average verse, Kendrick has lost the depth in his lyrics, his bars don't excite anymore, hes a less complex version of Andre and Eminem.

Honestly dude, I think fans are just happy to hear him having fun on a track and actually rapping again. I just want him to have fingerprints on the game. last year he dropped but it didn’t really have THAT impact. I’m not sure if we going to get that 2015-2017 Kendrick. Feels like we have heard the best of him.

To be fair they're both under Universal - Drake on Republic, Kendrick on Interscope.

The AI stuff and "tin men/ten men" lines were clear shots, and Dave Free said some shyt a few weeks ago too. My only issue with this as a Kendrick fan is if you want to do this, I hope it means we're back to normal and no more deep meditation therapy hours. You want to be outside...be outside. Do features, talk shyt, have fun, and get back to RAPPING. This is a nice first step but I need to see more if he truly wants to do this.
