this is no knock to the LB's, because they looked amazing, but Joseph Jackson is the guy im most excited about going forward on D. 8 sacks in parts of 11 games, dog against the run. once Kool gets more weight and technique into this kid, we could be talking about an ACC DPOY type of guy. this season by him was already better than any of Chad or Quad's

one bright spot i can take from the late season OL shuffle is Darling can play G, there should be enough guys to compete there depending on where they use St. Louis.

new clips from 4* WR Kevaughn Dingle, his camp times scared me but i like him. him and Lil Njoku are similar players, but both have some really nice senior tape. just need a burner with the 3rd spot

I was reading the staff was thinking of dropping him...:snoop: if they do

he's averaging 30 yards per catch in Dade, I dont care what your recorded 40 times are, if you can average 30 per catch, you got good enough speed

there's some guys who don't have the greatest measurables and 40 times, but are pure football players in the tri-county area and they are a take everytime (think guys like JaQuan Johnson, Trajan Bandy, etc.)

hes been a take the whole time i believe, its Harley that got offered late. i get it, 4 would be a crowd but if theres no Hollomon or Smith in the class Harley has to be in it. maybe they get word from a guy like say Darrell Langham to transfer and it opens a spot. Knighton the OL is transferring, im expecting 4-5 more. theres 10+ kids from the 14 and 15 class that will never play coaches have to let them know what the deal is

Early Enrollees update (11-15)
A lot of you have been asking about January enrollees in this recruiting class, so here is what I have gathered over the past few days. None of this is set in stone with some prospects relying on passing certain courses or achieving test scores/GPA.

Enrolling early
Deejay Dallas
Brian Polendey
Billy Gibson
Amari Carter
Navaughn Donaldson
Waynmon Steed
Zalon'tae Hillery
Zach Dykstra
Cade Weldon
Bradley Jennings Jr.

Other possible
Robert Burns (still working towards it, on pace)
Jonathan Garvin (still working towards it, on pace)
Jeremiah Holloman (Miami target)
Tre' McKitty (Miami target)

Not enrolling early
Jon Ford
Trajan Bandy
D.J. Johnson
Evidence Njoku
DeAndre Wilder
N'Kosi Perry
Kevaughn Dingle

Dallas being an EE is another reason he has to play corner, id love him on O too but he must play defense. Donaldson is huge, can get in the best shape possible. same for Hillery

Steed tore his knee, so he more than likely will RS. plenty of bodies @ LB, Wilder could play a little imo if he had too

someone on twitter said Yearby posted on instagram that this was his last home game as a Cane :dwillhuh:

I could see him transferring - looks like Walton and Gus are the new 1-2, with Homer getting more carries next year and Robert Burns and maybe another highly rated back coming in next year

or he could go to the NFL, doubtful that he gets drafted but he would definitely get a shot at as undrafted FA, he's a very good receiver as well, he's the type of RB that would thrive in New England

he has a kid too so maybe that plays a factor :manny:

The more I think about it Yearby going pro now makes more and more sense. Walton is far and away the #1 back and Homer/McFarland prolly gonna split the rest of the carries. He's never gonna be a burner or be able to put on enough weight to be a every down back. So leaving now and not adding anymore touches to his body will do him good. He's got 2 kids also so whatever money he can make is prolly needed.

Thomas Brown made some comments couple weeks ago about Choc. Basically told him he prolly gonna need to either switch positions or transfer.

Yearby's downfall was his pass pro, hes a better technical runner than Walton but hes not a 3 down player. especially with a struggling line

hes always been a fringe prospect, idk he'll prolly make a roster. has good hands so maybe with the right team he could contribute, likable player just got linked to his hs teammate whose a really good player and 1st rounder

yep, this movie has played out across cfb plenty of times. the upperclassmen gets his spot taken and declares a year earlier than he likely would have

im on the Homer board too, he has that look. i dont dislike Gus but theres not really any upside there

I don't think Gus is on the roster come spring.
Walton
Homer/McFarland
Burns
