Nevermind, that 30 for 30 is by a Notre Dame loser, a Billy Corbin wannabe. From Caneswatch "More than a month after old rivals Miami and Notre Dame battle in South Bend, ESPN will debut its 30 for 30 documentary on their 1988 game.
“Catholics vs. Convicts” will air following the Heisman Trophy presentation on Dec. 10. Watch the trailer here.
The film, directed by Notre Dame alum Patrick Creadon, explores the rivalry and the backstory of that legendary clash, including the fight that started the game and the infamous t-shirt a few Fighting Irish students created."
So they are going to ignore the other 1983 through 1989 games, and only focus on the one ND win in that part of the series.
11/25/1989 vs. Notre Dame (12-1) W 27 10
10/15/1988 @ Notre Dame (12-0) L 30 31
11/28/1987 vs. Notre Dame (8-4) W 24 0
11/30/1985 vs. Notre Dame (5-6) W 58 7
10/6/1984 @ Notre Dame (7-5) W 31 13
9/24/1983 vs. Notre Dame (7-5) W 20 0
Five of six Miami wins but that will all be ignored. Two shutouts which nobody else did to ND, and the 58-7 blowout that left Mushburger and Parcheesian starting the myth about Miami being the bad guys.
