Budden can do just about EVERYTHING rap wise better than Jeezy...we talkin bout RAPPING..not all the other shyt...and Budden has a gold album under his belt and plat single so u can just dismiss him as some mixtape rapper...RAP wise...Joe Budden is EASILY better...NO contest...they in different lanes..u would'nt listen to Budden for the same reason u listen to Jeezy..and vice versa..nikkas aint throwin on no damn Jeezy album to hear the next ill bar or crazy shyt he bout to say...they listen to him cause his beats bump...he makes good songs..great production and studio quality...charisma...etc...it's an overall stupid comparison..

Nice analogy. Budden is like "Skip to my Lou" Rafer Alston and Jeezy is like Rajon Rondo. Jeezy got the ability, and has shown, he can win on the big league level. This grown man business.

As an MC...the ONLY thing he has over Joey is delivery...and it has nothing to do with me liking Joey better...its just as an MC...Jeezy ain't better than Joey and damn near any aspect....what u feel about his music is a completely diff thing...

Delivery, yes. Better voice? Yep. Charisma and mic presence? Yep. Jeezy got those. I saw both Jeezy and Budden live. Jeezy is a better live performer. Don't sleep on Jeezy MC ability. And again, he just makes more captivating, memorable music, imo.

Jeezy vs Budden is exactly the type of comparison that shows the generation gaps, well designed packaged good vs something with substance. Jeezy isn't even the best in his lane. He does nothing exceptionally well. He can make hits based on that time he came out, but now he's just one of many so that "breath of fresh air" isn't even with him anymore. How does he translate to a new crop of fans?

People listen to Jeezy for entertainment value and beats that bump in the car? Cool, that's what you like then that's what you like. But people listen to Budden for the heartfelt music that you can relate to on another level. He also has that wittiness to his music. Joe Budden's songs will be timeless.
