But Coach Carter did close down the gym

He did. Carter wanted higher expectations for his team and they did it

Coach Boone... he ran that team like the military.

Plus, he didn't cut corners for anyone.

From Bertier to Petey to Yoast to Blue

Yoast was coddling Petey and he had to check him in his office.

"I may be a mean cuss BUT I'm the same mean cuss with everyone on that football field. The world don't give a DAMN about how sensitive these boys are ESPECIALLY the young black boys !!" I felt that.

Coach Carter had it's moments though. It felt like Jules from Pulp Fiction retiring from being a hit man to be a Coach.

Never watched Coach Carter, but Remember the Titans is a classic in my family. We always watch it during the holidays.
