Had a convo with my friend about the movie. Told him the actor who played Bane should get an Oscar nomination. He replied, "Catwoman too."

To be fair to Hathaway, they are completely different movies, doing completely different things. Hathaway never had a chance to really go all out like this. Still, her character is boring in comparison to Pfeiffer.
On a slightly unrelated note, everyone keeps asking what can WB do with the franchise after the Nolan universe...it's easy, go back to kitsch for a bit. We don't need Arnold in a fukking Freeze costume, but I personally would be completely okay with characters actually having powers again, Batman showing detective skills, two-face having split personalities, etc. Nolan put together an excellent trilogy, but his success doesn't need to be copied.
