Smith is a bit more diverse, so I give him the nod. Jackson is one of those actors whose character transcends the role. He's typically Samuel Jackson as.

But that's most big actors IMO. The best ACTORS tend to be from the 'B' tier. Jeffrey Wright, for example.

Will Smith always play himself in every movies. Every times he's in any movies and I always look at him as Will Smith, not as a character. He's overrated.

Sam L has memorable characters.

That's what I'm not getting. The "Sam plays the same role" shyt is ridiculous when you look at his total resume. Dude has 10-20 legendary characters that are nothing alike.

I can tell who has seen Sam Jackson's movies and people who have SEEN sam Jackson's movies. Even in smaller roles, Sam makes a big impact in them.

Sam has the ability to carry a movie by his lonesome, be a sidekick, be a leading man, or a bit player and you always remember him.

I mean he even elevated a trash movie like Amos and Andrew. Not even Will Smith could do that.
