Take nothing away from Ward, he can't jump into a time machine and fight in a different era. He's done exactly what he's supposed to do, dominate his competition and leave no doubt who the best fighter in and around his division truly is. Lately we've seen fighters such as DeGale, Kovalev, Stevenson, and GGG emerge in and around his weight since he's been on promotional-injury reserve.
