When Shawn is a legitimate on-screen and off-screen asset to every major company in America in his mid-50s, then we can start to make this comparison.

Work rate you baby. Funk had a slow style. Never could chain wrestle. Where are his high flying moves? Funk didn’t have technical bone in his body. He could great promos but till this day HBK gets marks upset from something that happened 20 years ago. So that’s my reasoning . Cry away.

That makes sense and it's fine. Thing is, there's a shyt ton of Terry Funk footage from All Japan in the 70's and a decent number of his territory work in the 80's. It would be cool if more people would look into it. The vast majority that do, come out appreciating Terry a A LOT more as a wrestler. Just ask my breh @Beautiful Bobby Eatin

What we don't have is his NWA work in the 70's - except for a handfull of matches - which is a shame because everything points to him being a fukking beast.
