Nakamura was a mostly a chore to watch before he made the gimmick change in 09'. So the first six years or so of his career aren't very good. Then he had like 3-4 year peak were he gave a shyt more often than not. And after that he was really picky as to when give a good performance. His charisma didn't show up at all until his second trip to CMLL, but that at least kept consistent for the 2nd half of his career.

AJ is the easy winner here.

But overall, Styles has been a bigger deal everywhere else. P1 gets the W, but honestly none of us win here

Eh, disputable. 03' to 09' Nakamura is mediocre with very few glimpses of actually great stuff.

Basically all of what I know from NJPW Nak came right around the time he first started kneeing people in the face (i.e. 2009-on).

I have heard that Nakamura prior to that point was eh, but I think his CHAOS run salvaged it enough.
