I don’t know breh.....

Goldbergs first year was impressive too.....
173-0
US AND WCW World Champ:wow:

Within 5 months of debuting he won KOTR, beat Hoegan clean, and became world champ by beating The Rock clean. Before his first full year ended he won the rumble and won his 2nd world title. Brock didn’t need to beat Hugh Morris and a bunch of random fukks to make an impact.

Obviously the Monday night wars were over, but overall accomplishments, Brock doing what he did when he was 25 or 26 years old is more impressive than Goldberg beating Steve McMichael, The Renegade, Sick Boy, Lodi, Glacier, Jerry Flynn, Disco Inferno, Mike Enos, Van Hammer, and Barry Horowitz.

Honestly I think Brock is an elite worker when he is told to be, and is much better in the ring than Jericho ever was.

But Jericho's ability to stay fresh and relevant as long as he has compared to elite gimmick/mic skills might help him on this one.

he was a midcarder thru the majority of his tenure in the WWE too.

with the exception of a few main event stints here & there.

especially after he flopped as undisputed champion.

He flopped as undisputed champion because they booked him that why. There was no reason for him to be paired with Stephanie at all, and HHH is responsible for that being one of the worst Mania main events ever, something we’ll be able to say multiple time since then

yall gotta stop blaming triple h.

Jericho's run was dead in the water long before the HHH/steph stuff.

I'm not one to overrate Jericho, but Jericho has had some good promos in AEW. And his matches with Cody, Darby, and Scorpio Sky were very good. Brock's post-UFC run has been good, but he's lost some steam the last couple years imo.

the darby & scorpio sky matches weren't good because of Jericho.
especially the darby match.

the cody match was only good because of the MJF factor.
before MJF came out, the 1st half of the match was nothing.

Brock has never done anything as big as the Y2J build up and debut

one of the most anticipated events in wrestling history, and he delivered :wow:

sounds more like good booking on the WWF's part.

and how exactly did Jericho deliver? he was stuck in midcard hell 2-3 months later.

meanwhile, brock debuting out of nowhere on raw in spring 2002 had crazy buzz. no hype needed.

tsc continues to underrate/overhate Brock. It's ridiculous.

He has easily been the best thing WWE have done in the last decade. He has more memorable moments than anyone in recent memory.

Beating Taker at Mania
The Goldberg match at Survivor Series
Putting Orton in a pool of his own blood
WM31 main event
Great matches with AJ and Bryan
Bodying half the roster in the Rumble
Having the GOAT triple threat match in WWE history w/ Cena and Rollins

And that's not even looking at his first WWE run.

He's an all time great and one of view interesting things about WWE. The only person on the whole roster who comes across as a star. And yes that's also because of how he is booked. But no one on the roster would be half as credible as a heavyweight KILLER. He has an aura no one else has.

He's a top 10, maybe even top 5 all time WWE talent.

Jericho didn't do shyt in his first ten years of WWE beside have some good matches with Benoit and have a botched title run.

He was great in 2008, then had a nice run with Owens.

He was initially fun in New Japan and brought a different energy but soon got exposed due to how washed he was and I hope he never works New Japan again.

Now he's doing goofy meme promos in AEW and that's supposed to be the different maker against? Brock :laff:

Jericho is talented but a good portion of his career was a let down. A lot of that was down to booking decisions but it is what it is.
