Op should close the polls now. Daniel is a phenomenal talent , just not as talented as his mentor.
but it's a conspiracy breh

HBK only got more votes because of aliases

@2 Cold Taurus , you gonna let these alias votes slide, huh? Yet you barred them from the BWIW tourney. :francis:

nah i didn't ban "alias votes" from the last tourney i banned the one dude voting with multiple accounts who was later revealed to be @Berniewood Hogan

this the same shyt i been saying since the last tourney cause these people voting that never post here vote on both sides, if you look at DB's votes he has some from "aliases" too but i ain't gonna police votes in that way cause it ends up being too much work and confusing for people

breh we need that for the finals :damn:

ain't no consolation bracket this time so it makes no sense to have the two dudes most likely to make the finals face each other round one
Says the guy putting two clear favorites in HBK and Daniel Bryan against each other in the first round. :dead:

it's not the same  and i rock with them both but HBK vs DB is not a finals matchup

you see how DB is struggling with this so there's no way he'd beat dudes like Austin, Rock, Bret, Flair, Foley etc

HBK ain't getting past any of those dudes either, i'd be surprised if he even makes it to the quarterfinals

Rock/Okada on the other hand is a high chance finals matchup to me at least, i'm even putting them on different sides of the bracket for that reason

Hbk shyt ain’t even close. The newer guys ain’t touching that era of legends. I don’t even like hbk either with his stupid ass goofy dancing around the ring bullshyt and him being a complete goof behind the scenes. But he’s a good in ring performer and has classic matches

That kind of argument would make the whole tournament kinda pointless since by default legends with clearly defined legacies and impact will have it easier than active wrestlers still defining their legacy.

Unless his match-ups are weak I don't see Okada casually making his way to the finals either for the same reason. You put him against an Austin or Savage and he'd get washed too.

Hell, Okada would probably not even be able to beat certain Japanese legends.

HBK. Too many classics to his name and helped push in the Attitude Era with his drugged out antics almost getting WWE kicked off USA on a weekly basis

Not only was his in ring classic, but his storylines were classic too (HBK vs Bret, HBK vs Taker which lead to one of the GOAT matches in HIAC 1 where Kane debuted and their first Mania match which was classic, Austin/Tyson/Michaels, etc)

That said, DB ain’t no slouch and I wouldn’t get mad if somebody took him over HBK

@2 Cold Taurus it feels like we’ve visited this concept before with @mrken12 TSC Evaluation series. What are the differences that this tourney is making to separate itself from those? (No malice :whoa:, just wondering)

No wild cards either . You didn’t have Scarlett in the wild card for the other tournament and Bryan or anybody else should not be allowed to return. No more 3 way matches either . It was stupid .

if Naito can beat Kane then Okada could probably beat Austin :patrice:

maybe we should do Austin vs Okada next week and see

good question cause this was actually inspired by the evaluation series from the homie @mrken12 and he helped with some of the matchups by sending me the full leaderboard from that

so besides the fact this tourney involves active wrestlers there's not really much of a difference :manny: i'm just doing this for fun since everybody enjoyed the last tourney

Nostalgia is an emotion.

Logic is recognizing that anything one of them can do, the other can also do... but a certain person was limited by their inability to play any other character their whole career, as well as their inability to get over as a face as anything but a douchey, smarmy tweener... whereas the other person has been a face, a 'heel', a real heel where people actually booed them... and is top-3 technical wrestlers of his generation and he isn't 3.

Also... one of them didn't get a fade ran on them in a bar fight and have to take time off TV to hide their battered face because he was incapable of not being that douchey, smarmy person in real life, too. :yeshrug: Live the gimmick, brehs.

:hubie:Bryan ain't never take an L in his whole career as big as HBK's to a Navy Seaman:dame:
