over these results, you gotta factor in more than JUST wrestling. Joe's presentation, aesthetic, mic work, etc. all shyt on Omega's as a whole. Joe is one of the best promos in the game and comes off as a dude that'll legit fukk someone up no matter the booking. 
And that's not getting into the fact that prime for prime? Joe MIGHT'VE been as good in-ring wise. Omega's peak was in Japan and it kinda gets graded on a curve.

You say this as if Omega is far and away a better wrestler than JoeOmega is obviously a better wrestler in the present day, due to Joe clearly being out of his prime, but complete body of work, Joe is better, and never needed 45 minute matches with 72 signatures and finishers to do it.
In all fairness.... Joe had his share of long matches too.... like his ROH matches with Punk or KENTA.
Also it seems like all the top guys in NJPW get 45 mins matches.... especially the main eventers
