The bracketing in this (and in the women) is intentionally stupid and controversial for the sake of conversation. Most of these pairings of talent aren't even comparable because they worked completely different styles for completely different audiences. The bracketing for both is intentionally done to eliminate top guys in the first or second round so there can be a surprising victor.
