The USA has a red hot scene of up and coming boxers. Some of them are already title holders, some of them are still in prospect or contender status.
In the last week, we saw both Shakur and Haney get belted under different circumstances.

Question is now: Which one do you think is the BEST out of the talented bunch and why? Also if you don't see the one you'd vote for in the options or just generally want to point out some lesser-known but great young guns post it here.

I go with Haney. I like his versatility, skills, speed, and determination. He looks to be very disciplined for such a young guy. Not only does he look very talented he seems to take it seriously too.
No out of ring fukkery (Shakur, Tank, Benavidez) or nothing, just being a professional.

Haney is up there but I feel Ennis might really be the goods...unfortunately he's a victim of promoter politics...he should have been cleaning up the b level welters by now...hopefully that ship is righted for good this time

I was wondering what was the reason big promoters are not all over him yet, obviously seems like he's the goods.

I like Ennis the most, best mix of offense/defense. Haney and Shakur can be tedious to watch at times and stuck in one gear.

Haney just doesn't impress me. I don't see special when I watch him. Shakur Stevenson's skills are special.

Haney seems to me more versatile and also more professional, no out of ring fukkery.
I'd place Ennis and Stevenson on second place though

We don't know a whole lot about Ryan Garcia yet we will find out more next weekend.
Lopez is an entertaining, athletic guy but imo his skills don't match some of the others' here.
Ortiz is an entertaining, tough fighter, will be interesting to see how far he goes.
I don't see as much in Benavidez as many others but we will see... he is tough, has solid power and fast hands, just move slowly as hell and his defense is meh.
Tank is a gifted guy, very athletic but he's a knucklehead which is a sure recipe for wasted potential.
Lubin is good, seems like he got his shyt together after that loss but imo his ceiling is lower than some others' here.

I'm going with haney 20 with the defensive skills and offensive power. He seems really focused in the gym and wants to fight and get better as much as possible.

Ennis and Stevenson is right below him though they're all really close I think Haney offensive versatility speed with his size separates them

haney is what i see as the endgame for shakur if he keeps maturing offensively...haney was fighting a little too defensively for a good min but this year understood you gotta get these nikkas out here when the opportunity presents itself

Can’t go wrong with Haney or Shakur...

The most sensible answer right now is Gervonta Tank Davis however.
As of now Davis is the most accomplished, despite his talent though I have a hard time seeing him as the future of US boxing. Too immature, out of ring fukkeries, lack of discipline... That usually doesn't mean good in long term.

He could be someone like a Zab Judah of his generation imo which is not bad but not great either.

@reservoirdogs

I have this perception of Tank like he a knucklehead or fukk up too
But honestly I can’t think of anything he’s done outside of the ring
I know ppl say he gets fat in between fights, but has he done something in his past or something
Hate to say it but personally I think I’m making him guilty by association (broner) and making stereotypes based off him being from bmore

He got assault charges, last one was dropped iirc but not a good sign either way.

Mostly it's not even teh fukkery though but the lack of discipline cause even if you are living the street life or used to but you have discipline you can turn out to be alright, see Crawford.
Plus I think like Teofimo he relies a bit too much on his athleticism unlike a Haney or Shakur
