i've read studies that say that the best time is late afternoon, early evening because of the body's cortisol levels being high as fukk in the morning and putting your body through the stress of weightlifting and/cardio early in the morning spikes those levels even higher but then again i've read another study that says that training in the morning is just as good for muscle growth as late afternoon/evening so it's like
as long as your sleep and nutrition game is on-point and you're not doing some crazy ass HITT and then doing like 500 reps in your routine on like 2 hours of sleep it doesn't really matter if you train at night or in the morning.
i myself prefer 6:00 pm or so due to my schedule and hating to wake up early but whatever works for you is best.
