It's been so long since anyone kissed the Patriots ass so Op made this lame ass thread
Everyone records teams, its part of scouting and research. It got overblown due to jealousy. Atl and Indy piped in fake crowd noise. Nothing. Siragusa belly flopped on Rich Gannon to ensure victory. Kimo Von Olhoffen took out Carson Palmers' knee to guarantee an advance in the playoffs. New Orleans had Bountygate, nothing. Salary cap violations for the 97/98 Broncos and 94 Niners. Peyton Manning took HGH to save and extend his career. They also recorded other teams. Don't try and dismiss it like it wasn't a significant factor
No love for the 2006 Colts? Outside of Edge, it was the same team that was 13-0, the year before. 2016 Patriots steamrolled through most of the year without Gronk for more than half of it. Coincidentally, tbeir crowning achievement was an historic comeback. 2019 Chiefs were awesome, too. Same firepower as the year before, with a greatly improve defense. Walked down Houston and SF in the postseason like it was nothingYeah defense was elite even in 2003 and then adding Dillon made that O much better.
The playoff run was amazing too. Keeping Indy to 3, dominating Pittsburgh in Pitt and allowing 21 to Philly with the Greg Lewis TD being kind of garbage time was very impressive
It came down to the 2013 Seahawks v 2004 Patriots but I gave NE the edge because I trust their O more. They are similar in terms of elite RB, solid but not great receivers, but NE had a better offensive line and a better QB.

Those are honourable mentions but for me, Indy in 2006 had a lot of close wins early in the season
2016 Pats were really good but I look at them as lesser without Gronk and would put the 2014 team above them. Plus the ATL comeback was great but they shouldn't have been down to begin with and Atlanta made so many gaffes in that game
2019 Chiefs were nice but not on the level of others IMO
Damn honestly i'm not sure

1999 rams (greatest show on turf) and 2000 ravens (great defensive team, as good as the legion of boom Seahawks imo) were arguably the best SB Championship teams of the 21st century.
The 1999 rams started the season in the 20th century but they finished it in the new millennium. They won the Vince Lombardi trophy on Sunday, January 30, 2000 against the AFC playoff champions Tennessee Titans 23-16.I would count the Rams as 20th century
Meh all you want but the Eagles were number 1..we didn't just get hot in the playoffs lol..they kicked ass since week 1Damn honestly i'm not sure

Who would you have as your best Super Bowl winning team over the past twenty years? What are your top three?
I think a lot of people are probably going to pick the Seahawks, but I don't think they'd have the offense to beat some of the other teams.
