Man 2010 was such a pivotal year in my life. It was the year I joined the Army so the month right before I shipped to boot camp Distant Relatives dropped and it was the soundtrack to my early summer. Then while I was in AIT Kanye dropped My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy which was the soundtrack to my winter...

Since Nas isn't listed on here I'll go with Ye. MBDTF was probably the overall best album that year.

I'd probably put Eminem for Recovery and maybe Nas for Distant Relatives too on the list (shyt I think Damian had a good year off that album but I get if people feel he wasnt really rapping on that). Also I think Ghostface's Apollo Kids album was super underrated and needs to be considered . Not saying they were overall best (Kanye was the MVP that year)

Good to see Big Boi on there as I thought he had an underrated year too. Also Big KRIT for KRIT wuz Here. Not sure how people feel about Odd Future but wasnt this the year they dropped all their mixtapes and Earl Sweatshirt dropped his?

Ghost, Nas, Em, Earl would probably be on my honorable mentions list if not top 10 for that year.

DR is a personal classic and should've gotten WAY more love. But Ye was unstoppable that year. From the GOOD Friday's to the Runaway video to the album release. I still catch the Holy Ghost listening to Gorgeous
