very forgettable year for hip hop....probably one of the worst years. Barely any classics made in that year. It was wayne and drake year.

Fukking bizarro world son any one in touch with hip hop in '09 knows Drake was that dude. '09 was about the mixtapes and the birth of the new class. He dropped a critically acclaimed tape with hits and influence in '09 and was rapping at a high level.

Only Wu fans/90's heads gave a fukk about Rae like that the streets wasn't playing that shyt. Cuban Linx 2 ain't near the first, its boring. It's nowhere near the impactful release that a So Far Gone was.
